LabelFlow
Design variable-data labels from a CSV or your own records: text fields, serial numbers, local images, Code 128 and EAN-13 barcodes and QR codes. Check every label in the batch, then export exact-size PDF sheets. Free, private and runs entirely in your browser.
How to use LabelFlow
- Load your records from a CSV or type them in, and choose an optional quantity field.
- Set up the sheet: measured page size, margins, label size and gutters.
- Place text, images and codes on the label and bind them to fields with plain {{field}} placeholders. Add conditions for optional content.
- Set serial numbers and mark any slots already used on the first sheet.
- Run the preflight check on every label, fix any errors, then export PDF, PNG or SVG. Save your project.
What people use it for
- Printing stock and shelf labels with SKUs and barcodes
- Small-batch product packaging labels
- Asset tags with serial numbers and QR codes
- Shipping and address labels from a spreadsheet
- Reusing a label template for each new batch
Frequently asked questions
Is LabelFlow really free?
Yes. It's free to use here in your browser and free to download. There's no account, trial or watermark.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Records and images are processed in your browser tab, and the page blocks the tool from making any network connection. Nothing is saved automatically: save a project file to keep your work.
Which barcodes does it make?
Code 128 (printable ASCII), EAN-13 (all 13 digits with a valid check digit) and QR codes (UTF-8, versions 1-10). It checks quiet zones and minimum module sizes before export.
Will it print on my label sheets?
Yes. You enter the measured page, margins, label size and gutters, and PDF export uses those exact physical dimensions. Labels are never silently scaled; print at 100% and test on your printer.
Can I print on a partly used sheet?
Yes. Mark the slots already used on the first sheet and printing starts at the next free one.
How do serial numbers work?
Use {{__serial}} on a label: it increments for each physical label, including repeated copies. Previews and repeat exports don't advance the saved starting number.
What are the limits?
Up to 200 records, 300 physical labels, 30 fields, 20 objects, 12 images and 80 pages per job. Images must be static PNG or JPEG, up to 2 MiB each.
Does it assign real GS1 barcodes?
No. Generated numbers don't allocate GS1 identifiers, and example codes are test data. Check the receiving system's requirements and test printed codes with your scanner.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Click Download to save the tool as a single HTML file, then open it in a current desktop browser, with or without an internet connection.
Private by design
This tool is a single HTML file that runs entirely in your browser. The page that hosts it blocks every outgoing network connection from the tool, so the files you open are processed on your device and are never sent to AppKatz or anyone else. Download it once and it keeps working offline.
