AppKatz (appkatz.com) is only a pass-through facilitator. It is not a party to this agreement, does not store or retain documents, and cannot provide copies, records or testimony later. Each party is solely responsible for keeping their own copy.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. AppKatz disclaims all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law; where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at US$10 in total.
AppKatz does not verify identity beyond email verification and does not give legal advice.
Some documents cannot be signed electronically (for example wills, court orders, notarized or real-estate instruments, and certain family-law documents). I am responsible for confirming that an electronic signature is valid for this document and jurisdiction.
I consent to do business electronically and to use electronic records and signatures (ESIGN Act / UETA).

How it works

You upload a PDF and list the signers. You confirm from your email.
Each signer gets an email link, agrees to the terms, reviews the PDF and signs by typing their name (and optionally drawing a signature).
After the last signature, the PDF is sealed with a digital signature and a third-party timestamp and emailed to everyone.
AppKatz then deletes the document and every record of the transaction. Unfinished requests are deleted after 14 days.
